Having meetings with people in different locations can be hard at times. Conflicting schedules, Finding the right times and setting up the place are a couple of problems we have encountered when doing so. Is there any different way to have the meeting online? Yugma maybe the one that can solve your problem.

Yugma is a free web conferencing service that enables people to instantly connect over the internet and to collaborate using any application or software, using both Windows and Mac. The name Yugma is a word from the Sanskrit language meaning “the state of being in unified collaboration“. Businesses can connect on-demand and real-time with clients, prospects or employees whether they are across the city, nation or even the globe. Popular uses include presenting sales proposals, product demonstrations, conducting training, project management, customer service, team reviews, remote support and troubleshooting, and collaboration by web communities such as Skype, Jotspot and Salesforce.com. There is also a Yugma Widget that is available so you can add a Yugma button to your web site, blog, intranet, etc. It makes it really easy for others to join you on a web conferencing session.
Yugma requires Java runtime 1.4.2_07 or later on both Windows and Mac (OSX 10.3 or later). With the Yugma-Free account, users will have 10 attendees on a conference. You can upgrade to the Yugma-Premium service if you need more people to attend the conference. There are three levels of service. Premium-10 supports a host plus 20 other attendees. Premium-20 supports a host plus 20 other attendees. Premium-50 supports a host plus up to 50 other attendees. If you need to host larger meeting than this, you can contact Yugma directly by phone (+1 952-400-0357) or via email at sales@yugma.com. Yugma will then set up a larger account for you.
Overall, a very nice application to have. With Yugma, you can share your desktop directly with the other attendees. Collaboration does happen in real time. Unlike other online collaborative service like AjaxWrite or Zoho Virtual Office, Yugma actually shares your desktop (hence, your files) with others, resulting a real life collaboration-like experience. The only downside of Yugma is that it has to install something on your computer in order for it to work. If you like a direct online collaboration without installing anything, then Yugma is not for you. But if you like direct collaboration experience and real time communication, then Yugma is for you.
