Have you ever wondered how you can advertise your websites, blogs, portfolios, etc on your social network accounts? Perhaps make a smaller version of your websites so everyone can preview your work? Embedding videos or audios are not new, but embedding a smaller version of websites? Now that’s new. With LeafLetter, you can.
LeafLetteris a web2.0 ajax and flash based application which enables users to create miniature web sites (“Leaflets”) and embed them into social networks, blogs, and other web sites with ease. LeafLetter is geared toward professional content creators – creative artists, media professionals, online sellers – users who seek broader exposure for their content. It can be displayed anywhere HTML is welcome, for example, in the “About Me” section of a MySpace Profile, the body of a Blog Entry, and in the Portfolio section of a photographer’s Personal Website, all simultaneously. LeafLetter is created using an intuitive browser based (WYSIWYG) design tool, and features such helpful tools as Real Time Layout Changing, Build By Blocks, and smooth Flickr integration for users wishing to share photos and maintain control of their presentation. Once a Leaflet has been created it can be distributed using the familiar process of Copying and Pasting an Embed Code or URL to any location where HTML is accepted.

Overall, LeafLetter provides an easy to use interface where you can create your own miniature website with ease. Pictures can be added from Flickr, manual upload, or even from a URL. If you want to post your events with LeafLetter, you can. By this function, LeafLetter is somewhat similar to vFlyer, which generates online flyers for its users, but it does so in a full URL and cannot be embedded into other websites. Another one that WorldTechLogic has reviewed is Annologer where you can post your own events online. But none have the embedded capability of LeafLetter. Although LeafLetter is still in its Beta phase, we’re pretty impressed on what it can do so far. Aside from some minor improvement suggestions (a link to the dashboard in the workspace area, a link to the homepage in the logo, and a save button in the workspace), LeafLetter is a great application to start exposing your work. It’s recommended if you want to embed your events, preview of your website, gallery, etc, on your other websites or social networking accounts.
