When you agree to ship a CD, Lala tells you who to address it to, and you simply drop it in the mail. Lala will then find members that have the CDs you want, and have them shipped to you. For each CD received from other members, you will only pay the $1 (plus $ 0.75 shipping charges). The number of CDs you receive will depend on how many CDs you ship to other members. Also, for faster trading process, you will need to list as many CDs as you can for your “Want” list. Since Lala matches what you want with other’s have, it will take longer time if you only list below 10 CDs (more than 2 weeks) and faster if you have plenty (> 50 CDs is less than a week).
Overall, Lala has an easy to use interface, a great clean design, and an extensive database of various artists and albums to choose from. The idea that Lala has is certainly unique. And, it’s legal as well, since only original CDs are being traded. You get to keep every CDs you received from other members. You can also buy CDs directly from them, which is quite nice, if you don’t like to trade CDs. Lala is sure is a nice way to obtain CDs we want for a low cost.
