Do you have a goal to resolve by this new year? Quit smoking, perhaps? Or climb to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro? Lose some pounds? Would you like to bet that you can achieve it? Scratch the betting part. Try this. Would you PROMISE to donate to charities if you don’t make good on your plan? Nearing the end of the year 2006, WorldTechLogic announces 31Left.
31Left is a web2.0 ajax-based web service that allows you to list your New Year’s resolutions along with a promise to donate to any charity you wish if you don’t make good on your plans. 31Left has a good list of charities in its database (23 currently), and if you do not see the charity you wish to donate to, 31Left allows you to add one to their database. After adding a resolution, you will get a reminder email in early February to follow up on your progress (and give you a chance to donate, if you need to).
Overall, 31Left is an excellent way to start out the new year 2007. Not only will you have a chance to actually achieve your goals, you will also get the chance to donate to charities as well if you don’t make good on your goals. It beats betting by a mile, don’t you think? To start making your own resolution, you can click HERE!
