Videos have been a great enhancement to our lives. They can record our greatest and memorable moments. Once recorded, you probably wondering how you can share the moment. Make copies then send them to your friends and relatives? Too old fashioned! Not when you can use Viddler.
Viddler is a web2.0 ajax-based social networking site that lets you upload, enhance, and share digital video quickly and easily inside your web browser. Besides Adobe® Flash® 9 and up (you can download the latest version HERE), there is no third party software that you will need to use Viddler. Viddler has three goals:

- Making Search Results Relevant
Since Viddler searches inside the content of videos, its users have a lot of flexibility when it comes to finding new material to watch. Search for any object, person, or place and the results will be staring you in the face with exactly what you wanted.
- Bringing Users Together
Social networking is a big part of Viddler. Users can make friends and send messages to each other, but what really allows people to get their voice heard is timed commenting, which lets them discuss specific moments in a video, rather than just talking about the video as a whole.
Using Viddler is easy. Once you have signed up and have logged in to your account, click the “Upload†link at the top of the page, and follow the instructions on that page. Clicking on the “Browse†button lets you browse through the files on your computer and identify which video you wish to upload. Once you’ve found the right one, you can click the “Upload†button to begin (or, alternatively, you can click the green “+†icon to add another file to the queue). Right now the file upload limit is at 500 MB. Viddler supports the following formats: .avi .dv .mov .qt .mpg .mpg2 .mpeg2 .mpeg4 .mp4 .3gp .3g2 .asf .wmv .flv.
Overall, Viddler has a nice interface and clean design. Finding videos and sharing them on your account is very easy. You will have 3 choices whether to make your videos public, shared or private. By default, newly uploaded videos are set to private. This means only you can view the video. If you set a video’s status to shared, you can let only a specific group of people watch it. If you make a video public, you make it available to everyone to see. Cool stuffs!
