Wines have been our companions for many many years. Drunk on special or casual occasions, wine tastings can be a memorable experience. There are currently hundreds of wine brands in the market. There’s no way we could’ve tasted all. Before we go out there and drink every single wine out there, why not see what other people are saying first? With BottleTalk, you can.
BottleTalk is a free online service for people who love wine. BottleTalk makes it easy to store details of the wines you have drunk and what you thought of them in your personalized area, share your wine experiences with friends, family and other wine lovers, rate and tag wines for easy reference, discover new wines you’d like to drink and store these in your ‘wanted’ section, and buy wines easily from online retailers. Once you’re signed up you will have your own personal wine profile page, and you’ll be able to add wine experiences, add wines to the site and mark wines as wanted. Your personalized area keeps a list of your tasted wines, with your wine experiences, your wanted wines list, your wine style and latest wines added by your friends, all in one handy page.
Overall, BottleTalk is a fine website with clean design and easy to use interface. WorldTechLogic has posted several posts about wine related websites such as: SupermarketWine, SynapseWine, and WineLog. Compare to WineLog, a similar niche website, BottleTalk seems to have everything it needs to compete head to head with WineLog. Although WineLog has a better wine database, with cleaner design and easier interface, BottleTalk might be WineLog‘s biggest challenge.
