Squirl: A Social Networking Site for Collectors

by admin on September 4, 2006

Niche Social Networking sites have been growing in numbers by the days. WorldTechLogic has been posting several niche social networking sites in the past, for example: Recipe Sharing, Amateur Illustrators, or Family Social Network sites. And now, collectors will get their treat of their own Social Networking Service. The site is called Squirl.

Squirl is a free web site for collectors, where you can organize and share your collections and meet other collectors. It lets you upload pictures and descriptions of your collectibles to your own private web site and control exactly what is visible to others. You can catalog your collections, share as much or as little of them as you’d like, and know that your information is safely stored and available from anywhere. With over 30 customized templates for different kinds of collectibles and features like privacy controls, messages, search, comments, and RSS, Squirl is fun and easy to use for both serious and recreational collectors. Free accounts let you store up to 200 items in up to three collections. Plus accounts allow 5,000 items and unlimited collections, as well as other benefits like no ads. You can learn more about pricing and features on the plans page.

Squirl was founded in January 2006 by lifelong friends John McGrath and Steve de Brun. We are quite surprise on how good Squirl is. If you are a collector, we would definitely recommend you to join up with them. You can signup to Squirl by clicking HERE!
