MountainReviews: Rate and Review Mountains

by admin on August 28, 2006

If you love skiing, you will most likely love its challenge or be dying to know beforehand the descriptions or ratings for the mountains before you even go there. With the new web service, MountainReviews, you can.

MountainReviews lets you rate and compare mountains in the ways that matter when you just love to ski. MountainReviews was launched on August 9, 2006, and it includes an online Yahoo Map integration so you can find the physical location of each mountains. On MountainReviews you can find mountains by:

  • Relative difficulty: Is Killington generally more or less challenging than Park City?
  • Beginner, intermediate and advanced ratings: Snowbird might be fantastic for expert skiers, but will you still enjoy it if you’re a beginner or intermediate?
  • Overall rating: Find out what other skiers and snowboarders think of a mountain in general.

Although there aren’t that many records on MountainReviews at the moment, with its easy to use interface and design, I am sure skiers will find a place they can appreciate in the future.
