MeeboMe is designed for anyone with a home on the web. If you’ve got a web page where you’d like to communicate with your visitors, MeeboMe allows you to see the people who are visiting your web page and chat with them! Now, users may (but aren’t required to) create a Meebo account that stores these credentials, allowing for a single sign in to multiple IM services. This user registration feature is a key part to a new service they are launching today, called MeeboMe.
MeeboMe is a Flash-based chat widget that Meebo users can place on a website. MeeboMe is a one-on-one communication between a website owner and a visitor.
How does MeeboMe work?
Easy! First, go to meebome.com and create a widget. Embed your new widget on your web page.

When a friend visits your web page, he or she will show up on your buddylist as a new visitor.

Wanna chat? Use the widget! Your visitor can start a conversation with you by simply typing in the text area on the widget.

In meebo.com, you can open up an IM window with any visitor and start chatting too!

By using MeeboMe, you will not have to expose your major network (MSN, Yahoo, AIM, etc) screen names, email addresses, and profiles to the public. The information you have associated with your Meebo account will be safeguarded. You will always know which widget people are messaging you from, and of course if people are messaging you from a public web page, remember that they will always be anonymous!
