How would you like to have a clock that is integrated to the internet? Ever want to have feeds on your clock? Internet technology has brought us many many innovations today. Cool stuffs just pop up everyday. Now, there’s an even cooler idea on how we can integrate a clock to the web. It’s Chumby.
Introducing Chumby, a compact device that can act like a clock radio, but is way more flexible and fun. It uses the wireless internet connection you already have to fetch cool stuff from the web: music, the latest news, box scores, animations, celebrity gossip; whatever you choose. And a chumby can exchange photos and messages with your friends. Since it’s always on, you’ll never miss anything.
Chumby is not ready for sale yet, but when it does, it will be shooting for $150 or less. So stay tuned. Nothing extra to buy, nightstand-ready. With Chumby, you can:
- Wake yourself up to mp3s, or load up your Chumby with tons of other useful and amusing widgets.
- For the true geek, the electronics are “hackable,” the case is removable. Your Chumby can look however you like (bling-it-yourself or choose from 3rd party options). Stay tuned — who knows what creative programmer-types will make it do?
- A Chumby is always on, so it’s a new way to reach people where they are every day. Share photos, personal messages, or birthday greetings. Make the world a little friendlier, chumby-to-chumby.
We are very impressed of what we’ve seen so far with Chumby. I am sure it will be a popular device for everybody who love the internet. Check out the store HERE (Coming Soon - So check back often)!

Most Web tools today isolate you from the data you need to improve your website from a natural-search point-of-view. Natural (or “Organic”) searches are the ones that Google, Yahoo and MSN has done by giving a small number of websites free traffic in order to keep their users coming back. You may have heard of “the long tail†effect, which describes how the total less-popular markets added up together make up for more than the popular markets. Now there’s a way to maximize that “long tail” effect to your own advantage. Now, there’s HitTail.
By utilizing a radically improved method for managing long lists on the Web, HitTail zeros right in on that data, showing you every search hit that has led to your site and then pulls out the keywords. HitTail then uses sophisticated algorithms to pull out underperforming terms as suggestions, which you may or may not choose to move into your to do list and act on. The more you take action by writing about these promising topics, the more your site snowballs.
HitTail shows you how to get this free traffic by following a simple set of guidelines. The end result is reducing your reliance on paid keyword campaigns, while increasing actual traffic from qualified visitors. You can see their demo tutorial HERE, or register for a HitTail account by clicking HERE!

Widgets have become more and more popular these days. Yahoo, Google, and many others have developed many widgets for us to use on our websites. Not only used as accesories, widgets can be useful to increase the usability of a website. And now, those long hour-days searching for widgets have past us. Now is the day for WidgetBox.
WidgetBox is both a directory of web widgets, and a system to help you manage your installed widgets simply and quickly. Developed by PostAppâ„¢, Inc., (http://postapp.com/), WidgetBox creates a marketplace that connects web widget developers with bloggers and other personal publishers.
For those of you who don’t know what a widget is, a web widget (sometimes called a gadget or module) is a piece of web service-based interactive content that can be dynamically embedded into a web page. For example, a web widget can be a game, a score box displaying a set of statistics, a weather box, an advertising box or any other functionality to be embedded on a web page such as a blog, personal homepage, social networking profile, or auction page. As some of you might have been aware, putting untrusted web widgets on your blog or web page is considered risky, because the Javascript in the widget can read your web page and send that information back to the developer of the widget. Fortunately, WidgetBox provides a security layer around widgets that prevents them from using Javascript in that malicious manner.
WidgetBox has many widgets for you to use. It is currently in its Beta phase. If you want to accessorize your site, WidgetBox is the place for you.

Are your tried-and-true recipes lying around in emails, Word documents, Crisco-covered cards and crumbling cookbooks? Getting tired of organizing your recipes? Or perhaps confuse what you will be cooking tonight? There are a lot of ways to grab recipes online nowadays with websites like BakeSpace, RecipeMatcher and many others. And they server their niche well. And now, there’s a new recipe sharing site out there, called RecipeThing.
RecipeThing lets you organize your favorite recipes, share them with your friends, and use them again and again. It is a new web-based software application which allows you to get organized with your recipes. Along the way, it will allow people to do lots of other fun stuff such as emailing grandma’s pot-roast recipe to anyone, and to connect with other cooks, as well. RecipeThing also saves you time in the kitchen and the grocery store. All you need to do is just tell RecipeThing what you want to cook this week, what you keep in your pantry, and voila! Your shopping list is done!
RecipeThing has a cloud tags which allows users to choose recipes easily. As we’ve always posted before, a cloud tag is always always a nice thing to have. The only thing we complain about is its design, which is not quite “appetizing” enough for us. Sites like RecipeMatcher and BakeSpace have the higher points on this. Since RecipeThing is a new service, we are willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and hope it will have better and nicer design and usability. You can signup for RecipeThing by clicking HERE!
